Richmond Park
Open Weekend

8-9.9.01

For many years we operated a free bus service in connection with the Richmond Park Open Weekend, allowing visitors without cars to reach all corners of the park and see all the displays and activities.

A good load of passengers squeeze into RF453 at the Holly Lodge stop. The bales of straw are provided as seating for intending passengers.

More passengers board at Ham Cross. Note the home-made bus stops, which caused a little embarrassment because the local press thought that plans were afoot for a regular service in the park without prior consultation!
